Containment Solutions When attention to detail counts ! Curriculum Vitae
1990-1992 Eli Lilly, Indianapolis.  Charter member of internal “Containment Technology Group” tasked with evaluating applications within Eli Lilly.  Qualified vendors, developed specifications, evaluated needs at various plant sites and acted as Project Support during Start-Up and Commissioning.  Designed and patented hermetically sealed valve assembly for use with “Fugitive Emissions Applications”. 1992-1997 Isolation Technologies, Denver, CO - V.P.Engineering/Principal – Successfully developed and patented “Rapid Transfer Port” requiring no rotation during docking cycle.  Built company to 65 employees with 22 engineers and technical personnel.  Led the design and application of the technology in more than 100 isolators for both potent compound and sterility applications including complex PLC and computer controlled applications. 1997-1999 LaCalhene, Inc. Vendome, France – V.P.Product Development – Sold Isolation Technologies to LaCalhene and assumed position of V.P.Technology Development.  Developed and patented technology for applications requiring containment and sterility simultaneously.  Directed USA based engineering group designing all LaCalhene projects in the Americas. 1999-2000  Containment Solutions – Founded “Containment Solutions” to act as an independent consultant supporting pharmaceutical companies, A&E Firms and other OEM’s in the application of the technology.  Designed 18 of the high containment systems installed in conjunction with IMA Coprima Tablet Presses,  Functioned as part of the design team in developing the “Spectrum High Containment Tablet Coater” for Thomas Engineering.  Retained by Alza Corporation for outside support of all containment projects.  Designed modifications to roller compactor by Alexanderworks to make it containment friendly. 2000-2003 V.P.Kinetics BioPharm / General Manager Tote Systems Division – Managed day-to-day operations of Tote Systems and introduced “Containment Technology Product Lines”.  Full profit and loss responsibility, improved performance of division including significant gains in “on time delivery” and “quality control.  Company designed and built thirteen containment systems and upgraded all material handling products by the end of the second year when Kinetics decided to divest themselves of Tote Systems. 2003-Present Containment Solutions – Providing support for containment projects.  Commissioned six containment systems for CTF2 IPR at Canovanas, PR including operator and maintenance training. Five systems included IMA Coprima tablet presses and the sixth was for weigh and dispense of active ingredients.
